Most people are thrilled to have front row, center seats at any event. I’d rather watch it on TV sitting in my recliner which is only twenty feet from the bathroom — where there are no long lines. So what if I have to wait several months for it to become available on my screen?
I’m not going anywhere. I can wait.
Sports are not my thing. I’m indifferent to them all. The Patriots won another Super Bowl… the Red Sox defeated the Yankees… the Celtics and Bruins are in the playoffs… As a life-long Boston-area resident, I should be ecstatic. But I really don’t care.
I suppose I should at least feign interest in stuff that captivates the majority, but it’s too much trouble. Maybe in my next life.
